Excellent gift for a studious young person

I gave this as a gift to a young boy who is obsessed with trucks, planes and technology in general. He also enjoys puzzles and legos. This product is intrinsically educational,as well as providing a couple hours of quiet problem solving through the puzzle-like assembly. For the right kid (or adult!) the assembly is just complex enough to be satisfying, but not too difficult to be frustrating. I could see these being excellent teaching tools for small or large groups of students in STEM afterschool programs or even as part of a science curriculum. There is no better way to learn about physics or mechanics than doing this interactive kind of work that is also fun!
